Winglets - Citation X
The installation of Elliptical Winglets per the Winglet Technology’s STC will require a high degree of experience and understanding of the Citation X. The work performed to enable the installation of the winglet will require considerable modification to the existing wing structure to insure proper fit and alignment.
The installation will require, but is not limited to, the following actions:
- Removal of present wingtip, outboard rib and lighting
- Installation of a larger access door/panel in the outer wingtip area
- Installation of a new lower wing skin doubler, worked through existing access panels
- Out board wing structural reinforcement worked through existing access panels
- Installation of new wingtip rib
- Installation of new empennage mounted LED position and anti-collision lights
- Honeywell IAC Upgrade
- Final fit and installation of the new elliptical winglet
- Painting of effected area and new winglet

As stated in Winglet Technology’s Purchase Agreement “The winglet retrofit kit does not include updates to the flight management computer software,” (TOLD). An updated version of CPCal which incorporates the performance benefits will be provided to those customers who have previously purchased CESNAV from Cessna.
