G3000 CPDLC FANS 1A VHF for 4.8 - M2 CJ3+
Installs software functionality to enable Future Air Navigation System (FANS) for direct data link communication between the pilot and Air Traffic Control. FANS-1/A communication capability is available in the United States and worldwide wherever ANSPs choose to deploy the service. The pilot and co-pilot touch-screen control panels are the primary crew interfaces for sending and receiving data link messages to/from Air Traffic Control. FANS communications are VHF communications (no Iridium communication).
