In an emergency, Garmin® Autoland can take total control and land the aircraft. It is activated with the push of a button or if the system senses the crew is incapacitated. Garmin Autoland fully integrates with the G1000® NXi system and Garmin Autothrottle in every phase of flight. Autoland determines the most optimal airport and runway, considering factors such as weather, fuel on board, runway surface and length, terrain, obstacles and more.
